Hayden's Big Night Propels Rams Offensive Explosion

Senior Leslie Hayden (Ross, Calif.) tallied her seventh career hat trick to pace the Rams to a 13-0 victory over the Daniel Webster College Eagles on Wednesday evening.

Hayden netted five goals, including four in the first half as the Suffolk offense dominated throughout the contest registering 63 shots in the game.

Freshman Lauren Spencer (Tewksbury, Mass.) scored the first three goals of her college career, all in the second half, while sophomore Monica Wolf (Ballston Lake, N.Y.)scored twice.

Sophomore Meghan McHale (Halifax, Mass.) scored twice and senior Lauren Cameron (Kingston, Jamaica) scored her first goal of the season to round out the Suffolk scoring in the contest.

Daniel Webster was unable to register a single shot throughout the 90 minute game as the Suffolk offense dominated the offensive zone keeping the ball on the attack for the entirety of the contest.

Hayden has now scored six goals in two games this season for the Rams. She also added two assists on the evening to bring her season total to 14 points.

Wolf added three assists, while Cameron had a pair of helpers.

Senior Amy Waller (Berlin, Mass.) made 29 saves in the losing effort for the Eagles.

Suffolk will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they take on Wheaton College at 1:00pm at Dilboy stadium.
