BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk women's lacrosse was tripped by Endicott, 21-5, in Conference of New England (CNE) play Wednesday night at Hempstead Stadium.  

THE BASICS

HOW IT HAPPENED
Endicott poured in seven straight goals to get the game underway before Ally Colburn converted a free position shot at the 5:57 mark to put the Rams on the board. The Gulls soared over the final 5:46 with five more markers to put the blue-and-gold in a 12-1 hole.  

Four unanswered goals by Endicott in the second stanza stretched the d9istance to 16-1 at halftime. 

Suffolk managed to outscore the Gulls in the third, 3-2, to trim the gap to 18-4 with 45 minutes in the books. Lauren Woods found the back of the net once, while Colburn converted two goals.

Julia Dickinson tallied one goal less than five minutes into the fourth frame, but it was all Endicott from there as it poured in three more goals for the 21-5 final.  

GOALIE LOG

  • Charlotte Guziejka registered 11 saves. 
  • Payton Quirk had three saves in the victory. 
  • Emma Burke saw time in between the pipes as well.  

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

  • Colburn had a hand in all five of Suffolk's goals. She scored three herself and assisted on the two others. 
  • Dickinson and Woods added one goal apiece. 
  • Zoe Peckham provided one assist. 
  • Guziejka registered six ground balls. 
  • Gracelyn Laperle caused two turnovers. 
  • Eliza Bryant notched two draw controls, while Colburn grabbed one.  

NOTEWORTHY

  • Colburn, Dickinson and Peckham have produced at least one point in every game this season for Suffolk. 
  • Colburn has logged a hat trick in the last 14 games.
