
WATERVILLE, Maine – Suffolk women's lacrosse re-entered the win column and wrapped up its two-game trip in Vacation Land with a 15-11 win over Maine Farmington Tuesday afternoon at Smith Field on the campus of Thomas College.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk jumped out to a 7-0 cushion in the first nine minutes. In that stretch five different Rams recorded at least one goal with Ally Colburn and Jessie Le contributing two apiece.
The Beavers commanded the final 5:22 of the first quarter as it outscored the blue-and-gold 3-1 to trim Suffolk's lead to five, 8-3, at the end of the first 15 minutes. The Rams goal in the span was put away by Colburn.
The foes traded five goals in the second stanza to keep the five-goal margin at half time. Suffolk's strikes came off the sticks of Colburn, Zoe Peckham, Jessie Le, Kaitlyn Boyce and Julia Dickinson in that order.
After Peckham scored 51 seconds into the third stanza, Ruby McMinis potted a pair of free position attempts to trim Suffolk's advantage to four at the end of the third, 14-10.
A man-up goal by Allison St. Cyr at the 9:36 of the fourth trimmed the margin to three, before Eliza Bryant scored at the 6:29 mark for the 15-11 final.

- Charlotte Guziejka had 11 saves in the victory.
- Skye Cotnoi registered 11 saves as well.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Colburn led the offense with four goals and one assist.
- Le and Peckham both scored three goals. The latter added one assist.
- Bryant finished with two goals, one assist, six ground balls, two draw controls and three caused turnovers.
- Dickinson pitched in one goal and four helpers.
- Lauren Woods tallied one goal, one assist, six draw controls and two ground balls.
- Boyce chipped in one goal.
- Kate Carlson collected eight draw controls.

- Colburn had her fourth hat trick of the season and in as many games.
- Colburn has scored four goals and four straight games.
- Both Le and Peckham had their first collegiate hat tricks.
- Bryant matched a career-high three draw controls.
