BEVERLY, Mass. – Suffolk women's lacrosse earned its first weekly award in program history as Julia Dickinson was tabbed Conference of New England (CNE) Rookie of the Week, the league office announced.
The award comes on the heels of a 2-0 start to the Rams season and program, in which Dickinson contributed a dozen points on five goals and seven assists.
In the season opener, the freshman from Pittsford, New York, produced a hat trick and two helpers to help Suffolk defeat Dean, 12-8, Feb. 22. A week later, the attacker, compiled a seven-point stat line with two markers and five-set-ups, in the 19-1 offensive onslaught of Purchase in Suffolk's home debut.
Dickinson and the Rams return to action this Thursday, March 6 when it they take their talents across town to UMass Boston for a 3:30 p.m. Beantown battle.
