Women’s Lacrosse Announces Inaugural Schedule

2025 SUFFOLK WOMEN'S LACROSSE SCHEDULE 

BOSTON – Suffolk Athletics will write a new chapter of history in 2025 with its 20th varsity sport, women's lacrosse, just 36 days away from its first-ever season and as anticipation builds for the much-awaited game one, head coach Carolynn Keal has unveiled the Rams' inaugural schedule Thursday afternoon. 

The 17-game campaign is centered around a nine-game Conference of New England (CNE) calendar with seven home outings, all of will be played at James A. Sartori Stadium at East Boston Memorial Park.  

"Launching our inaugural lacrosse season marks a significant milestone for our program," Keal said. "We are very excited to introduce this dynamic sport to our community. This is just the beginning, and we look forward to celebrating with our team, families and fans as we begin this season."

Saturday, Feb. 22 will be a historic day in Ram Nation as Suffolk women's lacrosse will take the field for the first time when it travels to Dean. 

Suffolk's community will then have its first chance to catch the Rams on the turf in Eastie a week later when Purchase stops by, Saturday, March 1.

A five-game road trip follows and sends the blue-and-gold to UMass Boston (March 6), Maine Maritime (March 9), Maine Farmington (March 11), Rhode Island College (March 14) and Lasell (March 19).  

The Rams return to the Title Town for a three-game homestand that features the non-conference finale Saturday, March 22 against Fitchburg State and a pair of CNE contests versus Curry Wednesday, March 26 and Wentworth Saturday, March 29. 

April see-saws between road and home bouts. Action gets underway at Western New England Tuesday, April 1 with a trip to Roger Williams Friday, April 4 up next. 

Suffolk puts on its hosting hat back on Wednesday, April 9 for a midweek match versus the University of New England.   

A home contest with Gordon Saturday, April 12 precedes trips to Endicott (April 16) and Nichols (April 19).  

The Rams will cap off their first regular-season at home Wednesday, April 23 against Hartford.  

Keal, who was hired in June 2023, spent her first year on Suffolk's staff building the Rams roster to prep for the inaugural campaign.
