Dana Trivigno begins her second season as a graduate assistant in Suffolk’s Athletic Department where she will work on Taylor Wasylk’s staff, while working towards her Masters degree.

Trivigno's first go on Suffolk's bench was far from normal. Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the Rams were allowed to play just eight games over four weeks. In that stretch, the blue-and-gold went 2-6, with its first-ever season-opening win, a 5-3 decision over Nichols, Feb. 26, 2021.

Wasylk brought her former Boston College teammate to Beacon Hill for her first collegiate coaching experience.

Since her playing days at Conte Forum Trivigno’s coaching resume has already grown with three seasons as the girls’ varsity hockey head coach at The Rivers School in Weston, Massachusetts, and a handful of years with the Stealth Sports Group where she has worn a variety of hats including General Manager, Executive Director of Girls Hockey, head coach and instructor.

The forward may be three years removed from playing collegiate hockey, but she has kept her skills up-to-date by competing in the National Women’s Hockey League (NWHL) for the Boston Pride for the last two seasons and the Connecticut Whale the year prior.

Prior to going pro, she donned the red, white and blue, for Team USA from 2011-17, where she represented the USA in the World Championship three times, winning gold twice in 2011 and 2015, and silver once (2012).

Trivigno spent her collegiate career at Boston College from 2012-16, where she skated with Wasylk in two seasons. She helped the Eagles to three Frozen Four appearances (2013, 2015, 2016) and a pair of Beanpot Championships in 2014 and 2016, respectively, earning MVP honors as a senior in 2016. Her trophy shelf features four Hockey East Offensive Player nods, four Pro Ambitions Rookie honors and an All-Rookie Team Member selection. The 2015-16 captain of the maroon and gold, skated in 148 contests in Chestnut Hill where she registered 138 points on 57 goals and 81 assists. At the time of graduation, Trivigno completed her career tied for sixth in both points and assists and eighth in goals scored.

Atop her responsibilities at Suffolk, Trivigno works as an Assistant Director and Recruiting Liaison for the North American Hockey Academy and The National Hockey League’s Youth Hockey Development and Marketing Team Member.

The 2016 graduate of BC’s Carroll School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Operations Management, Trivigno has spent a vast time in the community. Her volunteer efforts span numerous groups including Newton Special Athletes, Massachusetts Hospital School, Feed My Starving Children, Students Today Leaders Forever, Skating Strides Against Breast Cancer, and a mentor program with St. Columbkill School.
