Suffolk women's hockey closed its non-conference calendar with a 4-1 setback to No. 1 Middlebury Tuesday night at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has fallen in three in a row to sit 8-11-1 on the year and 6-6-1 in CNE action.
Half a dozen players have hit the double digit point plateau in Bella Schmidt (8g, 7a), Jenna Caballero (12a), Alexia Hill (5g, 7a), Cassie Borowski (6g, 5a), Anya Nichipor (3g, 8a) and Kate Pohl (7g, 3a).
Katelyn Michals has assembled a 3.16 GAA and .903 save percentage in 19 games played.
BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols split its home-and-home series with Johnson & Wales last weekend to hold a 6-12-2 overall record and 3-8-2 CNE mark. Prior to facing Suffolk Saturday, the Bison will battle at No. 12 Endicott Friday.
The trio of Melissa Montesi (3g, 6a), Grace Melanson (5g, 4a) and Anneliese Klein (6g, 3a) have all supplied nien points to Nichols' 31-goal offense.
In net, McKenzie Muir has taken on the bulk of the work load with 15 games played, all starts. She boasts a 2.53 GAA and .926 save percentage.
WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk went 1-0-1 in the home-and-home series with Nichols Jan. 24-25. The Rams skated to a 3-3 overtime draw with the Bison in Eastie, before skating by Nichols, 4-2, the following night.
