Women’s Hockey Quartet Earns Krampade All-American Scholars

AHCA RELEASE | KRAMPADE ALL-AMERICAN SCHOLAR

BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey saw four players pick up Krampade All-American Scholars by the American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) for the 2023-24 campaign, the national organization announced.

Lily O'Neil is a repeat honoree as the senior has scooped up her fourth distinction, earning the feat every year she was eligible. She is the only Ram in program history to do so. Grad transfer Sydney Fascetta received her first honor as a Ram, and second overall, while freshmen Jenny Drevitch and Aiden Levee-Oshiro took home the recognition for the first time in their collegiate careers.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 grade point average for each semester and had to appear in 40 percent of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders. Schools also were required to be members of the AHCA.

All, but one of the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) seven women's hockey programs were presented on the list that featured 453 Division III women. Suffolk's four honorees were among 43 CCC players to be honored for their work in the classroom. Curry had the most with 10, while nine came from the University of New England and eight hailed from Western New England. Salve Regina (7) and Nichols (5) saw student-athletes make the list as well.

Suffolk has seen at least one player grab the accolade in all six seasons of the program's history. Overall, 17 blue-and-gold skaters have combined for 24 academic awards from the AHCA.
