BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey caps off its second regular-season in front of its home crowd Saturday, Feb. 15 as the Rams welcome Plymouth State to Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Rink for a 7:30 p.m. puck drop.

LAST TIME OUT
Three power play goals propelled Amherst over Suffolk women's hockey, 5-1, at Orr Arena Thursday evening in a non-conference matchup.

RAMS REVIEW
Suffolk, who sits 7-14-3 on the season and 7-7-1 in NEHC play, looks to snap a four-game skid and return to the win column for the first time a 3-2 overtime triumph at New England College, Jan. 31.  

Maddy Burton has propelled the Rams' offense as of late. The junior has struck for 10 goals and 10 assists this year to anchor the team in each category and with 20 points, half of which have come in the last seven games. Shana Cote is a consistent contributor as well offensively with 17 points on nine markers and eight set-ups. Haley Poloskey rounds out the top three attackers for Suffolk with 10 points behind four goals and six helpers.  

Kristen Caporusso and Julia McLellan have each seen their fair share in between the pipes. Caporusso holds a 2.52 GAA and .898 save percentage through 10 games, while McLellan boasts a 3.38 GAA and. 896 save percentage in a18 appearances. 

PANTHERS POINTS
Plymouth State has had a hectic week starting at Johnson & Wales Wednesday and will play against Salem State Friday before visiting Suffolk. The Panthers head into the weekend in seventh place in the NEHC standings at 6-14-2 overall and 4-8-2 against conference competition.  

Alexis Fagan's 21 points anchor PSU's 56-goal offense. The senior has found the back of the net 17 times this year and helped on four other goals. Julia Nagel is second on the squad with 17 points on seven strikes and 10 handouts. Caitlin Connor's 15 points on six scores and nine assists are good for third.  

Becca Bridge is the Panther's go-to goalie. In 17 games played, 16 starts, she has built a 3.46 GAA and .900 save percentage. Olivia Petito, meanwhile, has gotten time as of late, playing five of the last seven. Petito brings in a 2.76 GAA and .918 save percentage. 

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk women's hockey secured its first victory of the season Nov. 8, 2019 as the Rams defeated Plymouth State, 3-2, at Hanaway Rink in the rivals New England Hockey Conference (NEHC) debut.
