RAMS REVIEW
Suffolk split last weekend with an 8-0 shutout over Johnson & Wales and a 5-2 setback to UMass Boston to move to 6-10-3 on the year and 6-4-1 in NEHC contests.

A trio of skaters have hit the double-digit point plateau in Maddy Burton (7g, 8a), Shana Cote (6g, 7a) and Haley Poloskey (4g, 6a). Jesse Kennedy (2g, 7a) is on the verge of double figures as well to be a consistent contributor to the Rams' 41-goal offense.

In net, Julia McLellan and Kristen Caporusso have each seen time. McLellan is the usual starter and sports a 3.10 GAA and .900 save percentage over 15 games, while Caporusso holds a 1.80 GAA and .920 save percentage in seven appearances.

PILGRIMS POINTS
New England College is in the hunt for its first NEHC victory of the season as it sits 0-10-1 versus conference competition. Overall, NEC is 2-16-1 with its pair of triumphs, both of which were shutouts, coming in a four-day span in January against Anna Maria (4-0) and Nichols (1-0).

Kaylee Cross and Tara Turcotte push the Pilgrims offense. Cross has the knack for setting things up with six helpers and two goals, while Turcotte has a divided stat line of four goals and three handouts. Tatiana Fedeva (2g, 4a) and Madison Nipper (5a) have also added sparks to the scoring this season.

Cianna Weir is NEC's go-to goalie. In 14 starts, she has built a 3.83 GAA and .923 save percentage and is responsible for both victories. Sean D'uros has played in seven games and brings in a 3.35 GAA and .912 save percentage.

WE MEET AGAIN
Suffolk women's hockey put an exclamation point on its first semester schedule as the Rams blanked New England College, 2-0, December 14 at Louis E. Porrazzo Memorial Skating Rink.
