BOSTON – Suffolk women's hockey gets back in the action following Thanksgiving with a home-and-home series with Wesleyan. The Rams will first entertain the Cardinals Saturday, Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m., before heading to Middletown, Connecticut the next day, Sunday, Dec. for a 4:30 p.m. puck drop.

Suffolk women's hockey fell at Franklin Pierce, 5-2, Tuesday night at Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk looks to return to the win column after slipping in back-to-back battles that moved the Rams to 2-5-2 on the year.  

Shana Cote and Maddy Burton each have seven points to anchor the blue-and-gold's 16-goal offense. Cote's performance is split between goals and assists with four strikes and three helpers, while Burton's come off six handouts and one marker.  

Julia McLellan has taken on the bulk work load in net. The freshman holds a 3.31 GAA and .889 save percentage. Kristen Caporusso, meanwhile, brings in a 1.85 GAA and .924 save percentage through four appearances. 

CARDINALS CATCHUP
Wesleyan entered the win column Tuesday night with a 3-2 decision over Salve Regina to move to 1-2-0 on the season.  

Audrey McMahon is the lone skater with multiple goals with a pair to her credit to go along with one handout for a team-high three points. Collen Castro (1g, 1a), Alicia Nickolenko (1g, 1a) and Racehl Ziff (2a) each have two points.  

Allegra Grant has defended between the pipes for a pair of contests. She holds a 3.86 GAA and a .873 save percentage. Sam Smith owns the lone win in net with a 2.00 GAA and a .882 save percentage.

Suffolk is back in NEHC action next weekend as Norwich and Salem State stop by Louis E. Porazzo Memorial Skating Rink for conference clashes. The Cadets stop by Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:45 p.m., with the Vikings visiting the next day, Saturday, Dec. 7 at 5:30 p.m.
