RAMS REVIEW
Suffolk split its NEHC opening weekend action to hold a 1-3-0 overall mark and a 1-1-1 league ledger two weeks into the season.

Shana Cote has had a stick in nearly all five of the Rams goals this season scoring two herself and setting up two others. Maddy BurtonCassidy Gruning and Grace Scholz have each found the back of the net once. Burton has matched Cote's assist output (2) to sit second on the squad in points (3).

Kristen Caporusso and Julia McLellan have split time in net this season with the latter taking on the bulk of the work load. Caporusso, however, is the set of gloves with the lone win on the year as the junior holds a 1.81 GAA and a .895 save percentage. McLellan sports a .866 save percenter and a 3.85 GAA over three appearances.

VIKINGS VIEW
Salem State sits 1-2-0 on the year and 1-1-0 in NEHC action after splitting its league opening weekend against Castleton (L, 4-3) and New England College (W, 4-1).

Amanda Giles is the only Vikings skater with multiple goals to her credit with a team-high two, while Carolyn Mahoney, Abby Stafford, Rose Sullivan, Vanessa VanBuskirk and Ally Webster have each potted one puck. Mahoney and VanBuskirkk lead in the squad in points with a team-best two helpers apiece.

Dana Smullen and Sarah Plourde have even split action between the pipes for SSU. Smullen's numbers are a touch better at 4.63 GAA and a .865 save percentage compared to Plourde's .830 save percentage and 5.40 GAA.

Hannah MacDougall and Kelsey Ryan are the main scoring threats for UMass with two goals each to be responsible for 66.6 percent (4-6) of the Beacons six strikes on the season. Erica Lunn, meanwhile, holds a team-high three points on a pair of assists and one goal. Bri Colucci and Jane Ann Drill have handed out two assists each as well.

Caty Flagg has played every minute in net for the Beacons. She boasts a .903 save percentage and a 2.21 GAA.
