WORCESTER, Mass. – Tess Adams made Suffolk women's hockey history as the first-ever skater to record her 100th point, but it was not enough as the Rams fell to Becker, 3-1, Tuesday night at the Fidelity Ice Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk fell in an early one-goal hole as Clare Conway put Becker on the board less than four minutes into the action. The Rams took advantage of a late power play opportunity and Jesse Kennedy lit the lamp at the 17:36 minute mark on a feed from Adams to level the playing field at one-all.  

The teams headed into the first intermission locked at 1-1 and 15 seconds out of the locker room the Hawks went up one once again as Brittany Aiello scored with help from Catherine McShera and Claudia Gee.  

Suffolk attempted to play catch up by Julia Johnson stood on her head and picked up all 15 of the Rams' attempts in the middle period. 

Aiello's second score of the night came 6:32 into the final period and served as an insurance marker as Becker's defense backed up Johnson the rest of the way including the near two minutes when Suffolk pulled Abbey Weisrock from between the pipes to add an extra skater. 

NETMINDER NOTES

• Weisrock turned aside 19 shots. 
• Johnson finished the night with 39 saves.  

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

• Suffolk outshot Becker, 40-29, and won the battle in the face-off dot, 29-25.  

NOTEWORTHY

• Adams notched her 100th career point to become the first Rams player to do so. Her 21 Suffolk points combined with her 79-point total over three seasons at SUNY Canton put the senior at the 100-point milestone.
• Weisrock notched a career-high 19 saves.
