
CORTLAND, N.Y. – Suffolk women's golf captured third at the Cortland Martin/Wallace Invitational over the weekend at the Cortland Country Club.
The Rams shot a two-day card of 692 to finish third in the 10-team field behind Ithaca (634) and Union (654). The blue-and-gold's score was a program-best, 36-hole, at the Cortland Country Club.
Brooke Bugajewski was Suffolk's top individual performer as she shared ninth with Union's Shea White thanks to a two-day score of 166.
Just two strokes behind Bugajewski was Krisna Mahendran, who tied for 13th with a 168.
Ella Torsleff took 17th in the field of 51 thanks to a 175. Emory Goodson captured 25th with a 183 and Clare Stackpole-McGrath finished 35th with a 204.
Suffolk is back in action this Saturday, April 19 when it faces Albertus Magnus in a head-to-head contest.
