
BREWSTER, Mass. – Suffolk women's golf holds onto fourth place at the New England Intercollegiate Golf Championships (NEIGA) after Saturday's action at the Captains Golf Course.
The Rams compiled and 18-hole score of 343 to sit behind Babson (305), Wellesley (320) and Bates (343). Suffolk is the best Northeast Women's Golf Conference (NWGC) team on the cap after day one ahead of Husson (seventh – 385), Keene State (eighth – 404) and Westfield State (11th – 489).
Krisna Mahendran is in share for eighth. The freshman shot an 81 (+9) in her first regionals appearance.
Sophomore Brooke Bugajewski is a tie for 13th with an 84 and her co-captain junior Ella Torsleff is one stroke behind her in sole possession o f 16th.
Emory Goodson holds a share of 24th with a 93 and Clare Stackpole-McGrath is tied for 27th with a 96.
Suffolk looks to improve on its Saturday scores today, Sunday, Oct. 20 when it wraps up play at NEIGAs.
