WESTFIELD, Mass. – Suffolk women's golf closed its 2022 Spring slate on a high note as the Rams captured the Suffolk Invite at the Tekoa Golf Course.  

Suffolk shot a combined 370 to top the three-team field. Utica finished second with 401 with Westfield State's rounding out the three teams with a 477-team card.  

The event was the second-ever hosted event by Suffolk, first since Sept. 10, 2017 when it entertained Rhode Island College in a head-to-head outing at the Brookmeadow Country Club in Canton, Massachusetts. The Rams have never lost an outing they hosted in program history. 

Individually, Isabel Smith was the runner-up in the 14-golfer field. She shot an 83, three strokes behind individual winner, Sydney Bardsley of Manhattanville.  

Ellie Yarbrough's 91 was good for a share of third with Abbey Ainsworth of Utica. Sophie Kiley shot a 95 to claim sixth.  

Paige Irving (101) and Madison Scheinberg (102) finished one after another in eighth and ninth, respectively.
