BLOOMFIELD, N.J. – In its first two-day competition not just 2016, but in program history, freshmen Aine Dillon and Kailee Santos represented the Suffolk women's golf team at the NYU Invitational at Forest Hill Field Club in Bloomfield, New Jersey over the weekend. 

Competing as individuals, Dillon finished the 72-par, 5,858-yard course on day one with a 96 and a 97 on day two to combine for a 193 for a 43rd overall finish. Santos, meanwhile, carded a 114 through the first 18 and a 117 on the second day for 231, good for 55th. 

Suffolk returns to the head-to-head portion of its schedule Friday, Oct. 21 at Westfield State. Tee time is set for 11 a.m.
