
NORHTHAMPTON, Mass. – Suffolk women's basketball graduate student Amanda DeAngelis has been named to represent the Rams at the 2025 New England Women's Basketball Association (NEWBA) Senior All-Star Classic Game, the organization announced. She will put on blue-and-gold one last time, Sunday, March 30 at Smith College.
DeAngelis was selected to the All-Star game for the second straight season. A Suffolk student-athlete has been featured in the event in the last two years and four times overall dating back to 2018. There have been five student-athletes participate in the game in DeAngelis (2025, 2024), current Assistant Coach Lauren Romito (2024), Gabriella DeComo (2022), Jenni-Rose DiCecco (2022) and Georgia Bourikas (2018).
Suffolk's all-stars are one of three Conference of New England (CNE) student-athletes to be selected with Western New England's Lilly Hedge and the University of New England's Fay Veilleux earning the nod as well.
DeAngelis, concluded her collegiate career with her third first-team all-conference accolade, the third-ever Ram to pick up three all-league first-team honors. The award comes behind a fifth-year campaign, in which the forward led Suffolk's squad in scoring with 15.3 points per game and was the top rebound as well with 9.7 rebounds per outing.
The Londonderry, New Hampshire, native produced a double-double in half (9) of the 18 games hse played this season to be a two-way threat. Offensively, she scored 20-plus points five times and in double figures 16 for a total 1,464 career points, good for fourth on Suffolk's all-time list. Defensively, she grabbed double digit caroms in nine contests to cap off her Suffolk career as the Rams all-time rebounder with 951 career boards.
