
MILTON, Mass. – Suffolk women's basketball slipped to Curry, 68-65, Saturday afternoon in Conference of New England (CNE) play at Katz Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Curry jumped ahead in the first frame, 16-12. Suffolk could not climb back in the second stanza and faced an 11-point, 35-24 hole at halftime.
The Rams rallied out of the intermission, outscoring the Colonels, 18-15, to pull within eight, 50-42.
The blue-and-gold's comeback carried into the fourth and it managed to get within one-possession on multiple occasions, but came up just short, 68-65.
STATISTICALLY SPEAKING
- Amanda DeAngelis provided a game-high 22 points on a 7-for-14 showing from the field and a perfect 8-for-8 effort at the line. The grad student added five boards, three blocks and three steals.
- Colby Guinta put together a 14-point, five-carom, one-assist, one-block and one-steal performance. The junior shot 6-for-13 from the floor.
- Maddie Stewart supplied 10 points on a 4-for-6 showing from the floor with six boards and five helpers to her credit as well.
- Curry outrebounded Suffolk, 35-31.
