LAST TIME OUT
A sluggish start by Suffolk women's basketball allowed Gordon to build a lead it never let go of to run away with a 78-61 Conference of New England (CNE) contest Tuesday night at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk women's basketball aims to snap a three-game skid and return to the win column for the first time since Dec. 7, 2024. The Rams bring a 6-6 overall record and 1-4 CNE ledger into Saturday's showdown.  

Colby Guinta and Maddie Stewart both supply double figures to the blue-and-gold's scoring machine. Guinta pours in 13.7 ppg and Stewart adds 10.0 rpg. Jordan Moreau is on the verge of double figures as well with 9.2 ppg to her credit and Allison Bono adds 8.2 ppg.  

Defensively, Guinta grabs 6.9 rpg to anchor to everyday effort on the glass. Aisling Crowley contributes 5.5 rpg. Moreau and Stewart both add 4.3 rpg. 

BISON BREAKDOWN
Nichols took down Norwich, 82-73, Thursday to sit 9-3 on the year. In CNE action, the Bison are 2-3.  

Abrianna Vazquez is the main storyline for Nichols with a team-best 23.4 ppg. She just recorded her 2,000th career point earlier this week and is the only Bison averaging double figures in points. Summer Klein chips in 9.8 ppg and Adriana Romano pitches in 9.3 ppg.  

Klein's 4.9 rpg tops the team's effort that receives 4.2 rpg from Romano and Angie Coletti. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

• Suffolk is 15-12 all-time against Nichols. 
• The Rams have won six games in a row against the Bison. 
• The Rams are 10-1 against the Bison under Ed Leyden's guidance. 
• On the road, the Rams are 6-8 versus Nichols. 
• At home, Suffolk is 9-4 against the Bison. 
• Suffolk and Nichols needed overtime to determine a winner once in the all-time series, the last meeting, Feb. 4, 2023. The Rams won that overtime outing, 97-90.
