BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball rides a three-game win streak into its Sunday, Nov. 17 showdown at Emerson. The showdown between the Boston Commons neighbors is scheduled to start at 1:00 p.m.

Trailing seven at the half, Suffolk women's basketball came back to claim a 77-74 overtime victory over Salem State Tuesday night at Twohig Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is off to a 3-0 start for the second straight season.  

Colby Guinta has been an all-around player for the Rams thus far. The junior scores a team-best 18.3 points per game (ppg) and supplies 3.0 assists per game (apg). Amanda DeAngelis is an offensive threat as well with 15.0 ppg, whle Allison Bonoa and Jordan Moreau add 9.7 ppg and 9.3 ppg, respectively.  

DeAngelis is the biggest backbone to the defensive unit that limits the blue-and-gold's foes to 56.3 ppg. The grad student brings down 8.7 rebounds per game (rpg), to go along with 2.3 steals per game (spg) and 1.0 blocks per game (bps). Guinta matches DeAngelis' caroms per outing, while Aisling Crowley contributes 7.7 rpg. Bono and Moreau add 5.3 rpg apiece to Suffolk's 45.7 rpg effort. 

LIONS LOOK
Emerson is unbeaten on the year as well with a 2-0 record behind a 71-59 victory at Salem State and an 80-70 win over Elms. Prior to hosting Suffolk Sunday, the Lions will tangle with Houghton Saturday, Nov. 16.  

Bri Frongillo commands the offense with 24.0 ppg and 6.0 apg. She is one of four players averaging double figures in scoring alongside Jessie Silk (15.5 ppg), Charloette Levison (11.5 ppg) and Elise Arnold (10.0 ppg). Kendra Dodd (9.5 ppg) and Claire English (9.0 ppg) are consistent contributors to the Lions' 75.5 ppg scoring unit. 

English is on the verge of a double-double with a team-best 9.5 rpg. Silk chips in 6.5 rpg and Arnold adds 6.0 rpg. Frongillo has a way of getting in the passing lanes with 3.0 spg.
