BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball had its highest offensive output of the season to send its seniors off in style with a 94-26 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) triumph over Curry Saturday afternoon at Larry E. and Michael S. Smith Court.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Suffolk commanded the action from the get-go as the Rams scored the first nine points of the game. That lead blossomed to a 20-4 cushion at the midway point of the opening quarter that ended with the blue-and-gold in front 27-14.  

All the scoring in the second came from Suffolk, which allowed the Rams to take a more than comfortable 52-14 cushion into the locker room. 

Curry ended its scoring draught in the third, however, the Rams continued to click offensively and surged ahead 83-19 after 30 minutes.  

The fourth was a more balanced effort, but the Colonels could not catch up to Suffolk.   

STATISTICALLY SPEAKING

• Every single player on roster contributed to Suffolk's scoring. 
• Richard paved the way with 17 points on a 7-for-9 performance from the floor to go along with four steals, three assists and two boards. 
• Gabriella DeComo had 15 points behind a 6-for-9 effort from the field with four boards, two dimes and one steal. 
• Emily Welling flirted with a double-double with a 12-point, eight-rebound effort. The senior added five handouts, two blocks and two steals. 
• Allie Lopes supplied 12 points, four rebounds, three steals, a pair of assists and one block. 
• Sydney Noyes registered 11 points on a 5-for-6 clip. She added four caroms 
• Jenni-Rose DiCecco had an all-around effort with nine assists, six steals, four points, one rebound and one block. 
• As a team, Suffolk shot 56.3 percent (40-71) from the floor, 45.5 percent (10-22) from 3-point land and 5.71 percent (4-7) from the line. 
• The Rams outrebounded the Colonels, 46-29. 

NOTEWORTHY

• Suffolk defeated Curry for the seventh straight meeting to take a 21-16 lead in the all-time series. 
• In Boston, the Rams are now 12-6 all-time against the Colonels. 
• Suffolk's 90 points were the most for the Rams since dropping 101 in 101-46 win over Nichols Feb. 26, 2021. 
• Richard registered a Suffolk-high 17 points thanks to a personal-best in field goals made.
