BOSTON – Suffolk women's basketball looks to keep rolling Tuesday, Feb. 4 when it entertains Saint Joseph's (Maine) at Simmons' Moore Gymnasium. The GNAC battle is set for a 6 p.m. tip-off.

Four different players put up double figures to lead Suffolk women's basketball to a 73-59 victory over Emmanuel Saturday afternoon at Andy Yosinoff Court.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk moved into second place in the GNAC standings with a 5-1 league ledger after defeating Emmanuel, 73-59, Saturday. Overall, the Rams are 13-6 on the season.  

Offensively, Suffolk scores 64.8 ppg with Jenni-Rose DiCecco's 15.3 ppg leading the charge, which she also supplies 4.8 apg to. Junior Gabriella DeComo joins her classmate in double digits with 11.3 ppg, while Alexis Hackett adds 9.6 ppg. 

Defensively, the Rams are grabbing 41.4 rpg. Hackett holds a team-high 9.7 rpg. Emily Welling (4.8 rpg), Jordan Hipwell(4.7 rpg) and DiCecco (4.5 rpg) are all consistent contributes on the glass as well.  

MONKS MENTIONABLES
St. Joseph's (Maine) brings an unblemished 6-0 conference campaign to Boston. The Monks, who are currently atop the GNAC standings, are 13-6 on the year.  

Alyson Fillion and Cassandra Stapelfeld are the main ingredients to SJC's 64.1 ppg. The former leads the way with 13.2 ppg, while the latter scores 13.1 ppg.  

Lexi L'Heureux-Carland and Jordan Jabar anchor the effort on the boards. L'Heureux-Carland pulls down a squad-best 5.5 rpg with Jabar's 5.4 rpg in a close second to help the team's 40.6 rpg effort. 

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk has fallen in eight straight to Saint Joe's to sit 7-12 against the Monks all-time. 
  • The Rams look for the first victory over SJC since Feb. 17, 2015, when they bested the Monks, 57-35.

REBOUNDING RECORD
Alexis Hackett has proved herself on the boards throughout her career and has the chance to seal her spot as the Rams' greatest rebounder of all-time Tuesday night. The senior for Charlton, Massachusetts, enters the tilt with 875 career caroms, four shy of Suffolk's all-time record, 879, currently held by Johanna McGourty, who wore the blue-and-gold from 1990-93.

Suffolk concludes its non-conference calendar Saturday, Feb. 8 at Eastern Nazarene at 1 p.m.
