RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk returned to the win column Tuesday night with a convincing 30-point triumph at Anna Maria to improve to 11-5 on the season and 3-1 in league play.

Jenni-Rose DiCecco and Gabriella DeComo have provided a one-two punch to the offense as of the late with the juniors scoring 39.2 percent (26.4) of the Rams' 67.2 ppg. As the floor general the former leads the way with 14.9 ppg with the latter supplying 11.5 ppg. Alexis Hacket and Allie Lopes add to the scoring as well with 9.6 ppg and 8.0 ppg, respectively.

On the glass, Hackett headlines Suffolk's 41.5 rpg with the senior pulling down 9.6 rpg. Emily Welling chips in 4.9 rpg with DiCecco and Jordan Hipwell each grab 4.6 rpg.

CARDINALS CATCHUP
Wesleyan snapped a five-game skid on Saturday, Jan. 19 with a 66-58 win at Connecticut College to move to 9-7 on the year.

The trio of Caleigh Ryan (15.6 ppg), Marina Petruzzi (13.3 ppg) and Maddie Clark (10.1 ppg) all contribute double digits to the Cardinals 67.9 ppg.

Ryan is in the equation on the boards as well with the sophomore guard second on the squad with 7.4 rpg. Katy O'Connor's 9.2 rpg paces the Cardinals' 45.9 rpg effort.

INSIDE THE SERIES

  • Suffolk and Wesleyan renew a rivalry, meeting for the first time since 2011, and seventh time overall.

  • Wesleyan won the last match, 79-47, Feb. 8, 2011.
  • The Rams and Cardinals will tangle at a neutral site for the second time, first since Wesleyan took a 65-50 decision Dec. 30, 2005 at the WPI Invitational.
