BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team makes a pit stop at home Tuesday, Jan. 29 when it welcomes Lasell to Regan Gymnasium for a 7 p.m. conference clash.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team could not hold onto its early edge as the Monks of No. 11 Saint Joseph's (Maine) stormed back to take down the Rams, 77-63, Saturday afternoon at the Harold Alfond Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk saw its six-game win streak snapped Saturday at No. 11 Saint Joseph's (Maine). The setback put the Rams at 14-5 on the season and 6-1 against conference competition. 

The sophomore, junior tandem of Jenni-Rose DiCeccoand Alexis Hacketthave propelled Suffolk to its success this season. DiCecco leads the way in points (17.0), assists (5.6) and steals (2.6) and sits second in rebounds with 5.6 rpg to her credit behind Hackett's 11.3 rpg effort. Hackett, meanwhile, is second on the squad in points (12.5), assists (3.4) and steals (1.3). 

LASERS LOOK
Lasell, who brings in a 5-12 overall record and a 0-5 league ledger, looks to snap a five-game skid Tuesday night. The Lasers enter the tilt after a 69-56 setback to Anna Maria Saturday. 3 

Amanda Ortiz is the offensive and defensive leader for the Lasers. The junior guard produces 17.5 ppg on a 40.7 connection rate from the field to go along with 4.9 rpg. Breanna Muir and D'Asia Allen add to the offense with 9.6 ppg and 7.7 ppg, respectively. Imani Bumpus and Liz Bougie each chip in 3.9 rpg to Lasell's 36.9 rpg effort.
