BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team is set to host a pair of MASCAC foes this week with Fitchburg State stopping by first Thursday, Dec. 6. Game time is set for 7 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
Head coach Ed Leyden picked up his 400th career victory as Suffolk women's basketball put together a team effort Saturday afternoon to begin GNAC with a victory as the Rams defeated Saint Joseph (Conn.), 57-45, at the O'Connell Center.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk has been on a see-saw of wins and losses as of late to head into Thursday's tilt 5-3 on the season. In the Rams last outing, the blue-and-gold best Saint Joseph (Conn.), 57-45, to lift the lid on its conference calendar. 

Jenni-Rose DiCecco has made the most of her sophomore season, scoring double digits in all eight of the Rams' games, eclipsing the 20-point mark four times to pace Suffolk's 66.1 ppg offense with 17.5 ppg of her own.  In addition to scoring, the floor general sets up shots as well with 4.1 apg and pitches in 6.3 rpg and 2.1 spg to the defensive effort.

Alexis Hackett contributes on both ends of the hardwood as well with the junior averaging a double-double effort of 11.0 rpg and 10.9 ppg.

FALCONS FACTS
Fitchburg State has put together back-to-back wins including a 73-54 victory over Lasell in its last outing to sit 5-2 on the year. 

Angelina Marazzi is the main catalyst to the Falcon's 74.4 ppg with the junior guard producing 20.1 ppg. Catherine Coppinger and Emma Thomson add double figures as well with 13.0 ppg and 11.3 ppg, respectively. 

Coppinger leads the way on the glass with 13.7 rpg to anchor the Falcons' 53.4 rpg. Kerry Brodbeck adds 7.3 rpg with Marazzi (5.4 rpg) and Thomson (4.3 rpg) adding to the effort.
