BOSTON – The Suffolk women's basketball team takes its seven-game win streak on the road as the Rams make the trip to Anna Maria Thursday, Jan. 11 for a 5:00 p.m. GNAC tip-off.

LAST TIME OUT
Every Suffolk women's basketball player on roster contributed to the Rams' seventh consecutive win, a 99-47 victory over Pine Manor, Saturday afternoon inside Regan Gymnasium.

RAMS RUNDOWN
With its seventh straight win, Suffolk improved to 9-2 on the season. The Rams return to conference competition Thursday with an unbeaten mark versus league foes (2-0) thanks to victories over Lasell (57-36) and Mount Ida (84-61).   

Suffolk has put together a 72.6 ppg offense with the team shooting 42.8 percent from the field. The freshman, senior duo of Jenni-Rose DiCecco and Georgia Bourikas anchor the Rams offensive unit. DiCecco's 16.0 ppg leads the way with Bourikas also adding double figures at 15.3 ppg. Alexis Hackett (9.7 ppg), Jordan Hipwell (8.3 ppg) and Alexandra Nagri (7.0 ppg) continue to be consistent contributors offensively. 

Hackett has been the force on the glass for the Rams with the sophomore grabbing 11.5 rpg to pace Suffolk's 44.0 rpg team effort. Bourikas chips in 6.1 rpg with Hipwell and DiCecco adding 5.7 rpg and 5.6 rpg, respectively.

ABOUT THE AMCATS
Anna Maria fell in its sixth straight, dropping a 84-53, decision to Fitchburg State Monday to move to 1-10 on the season. The AMCATS lone victory came at Lesley Nov. 30 by a 69-39 decision. 

On the offensive end, Anna Maria is scoring just 49.5 ppg led by 11.7 ppg from Kristina Russo, who is the only AMCAT producing double figures. Franchesca Hammond tallies 7.5 ppg with Kayla Odegaard (6.5 ppg) and Shanon Hofmiller (6.1 ppg) also adding to the offense. 

Martiza Gustave's 7.2 rpg paces the AMCATS on the glass as the team grabs 35.5 rpg.

THE SERIES
Suffolk is undefeated (6-0) all-time versus Anna Maria with the series beginning in 2011-12. The Rams won last season's meeting, 66-59, in Boston.

EYES ON THE GAME

BEST YET
Suffolk sealed the best start in the program's 35-year history at 8-2 with its 74-67 win over Emerson Dec. 12. 

Now at 9-2, the Rams have put together the best performance through 11 in the program's history and continue to look to keep up the history setting ways.

STREAKING
The Rams have rattled off seven consecutive wins. The win streak marks the longest for the blue-and-gold since combining eight wins to open second semester a year ago in 2017.

REBOUNDS REMARKS
In the Rams' 99-47 win against Pine Manor Jan. 6 Suffolk grabbed 63 rebounds as a team, which is the most since pulling down 80 in an 84-68 win over Pine Manor Jan. 7, 2016.

HELPING HAND
Suffolk was sure to share the wealth with all 12 Rams contributing to their offensive onslaught triumph over Pine Manor with all 12 players recording at least a bucket. In that win, Suffolk dished out 29 assists, which is the most in Suffolk's game-by-game history, which dates through the 2010-11 campaign.

RECORD WATCH
Georgia Bourikas looks to stamp her name in the Rams' record book this season. The senior is just 111 points shy of the coveted 1,000-point milestone. The guard from Hull, Massachusetts, also looks to move her current fourth-place standing on the all-time treys made list with 126 up, while she also has the chance to seal up spts on the all-time assists (179) and blocks (29) list.

ROOKIE RECOGNITION
In six active weeks of the Suffolk women's basketball season, Jenni-Rose DiCeco has been recognized by the conference as GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week on multiple occasions and picked up her fifth such honor Monday afternoon after an impressive New Year opening performance.
