DOUBLE DIP
For the third time this season, the Suffolk basketball teams will take part in a double feature with the women's squad tipping things off at 1 p.m. against Emmanuel, before the men's team hosts Johnson & Wales at 3:15 p.m. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk women's basketball team had its win-streak snapped Tuesday night as the Colonels of Curry took down the Rams, 82-73, in a non-conference clash inside the Dr. Eleanor Meyeroff Katz Gymnasium. 

Georgia Bourikas had a stand out day off the bench for the Rams as the junior guard put in a game-high 21 points, shooting 8-of-14 from the floor and 4-of-8 from beyond-the arc. The guard added seven rebounds and two steals to her stat line. Kelsey Schiebel registered 12 points for Suffolk, while Chelsea Campllone pitched in 11 and led Suffolk on the boards with nine.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS

• Suffolk had its three-game, season-long win streak snapped Tuesday night when it fell at Curry, 82-73, to move to 9-5 overall. Last Saturday, the Rams put together a convincing 65-52 victory at Simmons to start the GNAC season 1-0.
• Chelsea Campellone, who ranks 11th in the league with 13.5 points per outing, paces the Rams' fourth-best offense in the league of 66.5 ppg. Senior Alessandra Quadri is also scoring in double figures at 12.1 ppg, while Georgia Bourikas is Suffolk's threat from beyond-the arc, connecting on 1.4 threes per game.
• Defensively, the Rams pull down a league-best 48.0 rebounds per game. Campellone leads the way on the glass with the second-highest boards per game amongst the GNAC palyers with 10.7.

SOMETHING 'BOUT THE SAINTS

• Emmanuel carries a six-game win streak into action Saturday after defeating Bowdoin, 64-57, Tuesday night. The Saints are 11-4 on the season and 2-0 in GNAC action, defeating Norwich (77-41) and Lasell (81-54).
• Emmanuel has outscored its opponents by an average of 17.0 and is shooting 41.3 percent from the field. Sarah Higgins is one of two Saints to score in double digits as the senior guard enters play Saturday leading the team averaging 13.3 ppg. Lena Negri, meanwhile, contributes 11.4 ppg.

HOME SWEET HOME
Suffolk is 6-2 when playing under the lights of Regan Gymnasium, averaging 69.9 points and 53.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 37.5 (203-541) on the Larry E. Smith and Michael S. Smith floor. Beyond the arc the Rams put up a 34.7 connection rate (43-124) and shoot 67.9 percent (110-162) from the line in front of the home crowd.

Chelsea Campellone averages a double-double (17.4 ppg, 12.6 rpg) in the friendly confines of Regan, while Alessandra Quadri (12.5) and Kelsey Schiebel (10.5) also notch double figures.

CONSISTENT CHELSEA
Chelsea Campellone has been a consistent figure for Suffolk on both ends of the hardwood this season. The senior ranks among the GNAC leaders in several statistical categories including rebounds (10.7 – 2nd), points per 40 minutes (23.8 – 3rd), and points per game (13.5 – 11th). The 5-foot-7 forward has registered six double-doubles on the year, led the Rams in scoring six times and rebounds on eight occasions.
