Senior Shelby Santini (Winchester, Mass.) scored a game-high 20 points to lead the Suffolk University Women's Basketball team to a 58-42 victory over MCLA on Thursday evening in non-league action.

Freshman Alexandra Nagri (Salem, N.H.) was a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point land as she added 11 points, while senior Iliana Quadri (Sudbury, Mass.) scored 12 in the victory.

Quadri and Nagri would combine for 17 points in the first half as they were collectively 4-for-4 from beyond the arc as Suffolk took a 29-23 lead into the break.

Suffolk would outscore the Trailblazers 23-9 over the final 10 minutes of play to space out the win to move to a 9-12 mark on the season.

Santini would put together a big second half with 14 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the field over the final 20 minutes of play.

The Rams will be back in action on Saturday afternoon as they host Simmons College. Saturday will begin a four-game stretch over seven days starting this weekend as they round out the 2014-15 regular season with all of their remaining games against conference foes. Saturday's tip-off is scheduled for 1:00pm.
