Strong Second Half Helps Rams Win on the Road

Box Score

Suffolk Women's Basketball earned their second win in three days in the state of Connecticut defeating St. Joseph College 63-29 Tuesday night. The suffocating Rams defense only allowed seven second half points and the Rams forced 28 Blue Jays turnovers for the commanding win.

Senior Meghan Tracey (Rehoboth, MA) led all scorers with 14 points and Kerry Bowman (Guilford, CT) added 12 more as the Rams get a much needed victory as they look to make the 8-team GNAC Tournament.

Junior Laura Thompson (Kennebunk, ME) had her second double-digit scoring performance in a week off the bench with 10 points, and Julianne Conrad added 10 rebounds and 9 points.

The Women play again Thursday as they travel over to Harbor Point to take on the UMass Boston Beacons at 5:30 pm in a non-conference matchup.
