New Haven, CT - Freshman Julianne Conrad (West Bridgewater, MA) had 19 points to lead the Rams in scoring and take a much needed GNAC victory on the road over Albertus Magnus College, 77-61 Saturday afternoon. Senior Meghan Tracey (Rehoboth, MA) added another double-double on the season scoring 14 points and grabbing 11 rebounds as Suffolk won their fourth conference game of the season.
Suffolk never trailed at any point in the game, and were up by as many as 24 at one point in the second half. The Rams went 5-7 from beyond the arc in the second half to keep the Falcons at a distance. Freshman Mary Garon (Auburn, NH) was 4-4 from the field in the second half, including 3-3 from 3-point land as she had 12 of Suffolk's 40 second half points.
Krystal Bryant had 17 points and 13 rebounds for Albertus Magnus who fall to 1-8 in GNAC play and 6-13 overall on the season.
Suffolk travels back down to Connecticut on Tuesday evening as they head to West Hartford to take on the Blue Jays of St. Joseph College in GNAC action. Game time is at 7:00 pm
