BOSTON – Suffolk softball caps off the regular-season Saturday, May 4 in a non-conference double feature with Hartford. First pitch of game one at East Boston Memorial Park is scheduled for 12:00 p.m.

All the scoring game in the first three innings and Suffolk softball never found its way out of a 6-2 hole to fall to Wentworth by a four-run margin in the nightcap of a Commonwealth Coast Conference double feature Sunday afternoon.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk split doubleheaders with Endicott and Wentworth last weekend to hold a 17-21 overall mark. 

The Rams' top three threats at the plate are freshman Julia Mills (40 H, 24 RBI, 17 R) and juniors Becky Zeliln (34 H, 23 RBI, 23 R) and Ella Turnbull (32 H, 20 RBI, 5 R). Catherine Carignan (38 H, 17 RBI, 17 R) and Jolie Quintana (28 H, 16 RBI, 16 R) have been consistent factors in the offensive output as well.  

Pitching wise, Lily Newhall (86.2 IP ,2.99 ERA, 33 K) and Cynthia Rucinski (94.0 IP, 4.62 ERA, 75 K) are the usual starters for Suffolk. Ashlyn Conley (35.1 IP, 5.55 ERA, 11 K) has taken on the relief role for the Rams this season.  

HAVE TO KNOW 'BOUT THE HAWKS
Hartford holds a 24-8-1 overall mark on the year despite being shutout by Trinity, 5-0, Wednesday.  

Mara Sczecienski holds a powerful bat for the Hawks with 38 RBI on 49 hits, 17 of which were good for extra base hits, with 29 runs scored to her credit. Olivia Wolk has also notched 40-plus hits with 41 for 27 RBI and 24 runs scored.  

In the circle, the Hawks' staff boasts a 2.55 ERA. Carly Mayhood has seen the bulk of the action with 90.1 innings. She hods a 1.70 ERA and has fanned 82 batters. Alexis Sealey (60.1 IP, 2.55 ERA, 31 K), Gracie Hopkins (33.1 IP, 3.15 ERA, 15 K) and Alex Hassett (38.1 IP, 31 K, 4.02 ERA) are all options for Hartford on the rubber as well.
