BOSTON – Suffolk softball returns to East Boston Memorial Park Wednesday, April 26 for a Commonwealth Coast Conference double feature with Endicott. Game 1 first pitch is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.

Suffolk softball needed just two hits to take down Salve Regina, 7-3, in game two of a Commonwealth Coast Conference doubleheader at Toppa Field.

RAMS RUNDOWN
Suffolk is coming off its second CCC series sweep over the weekend to bring a 9-17 overall record and 6-6 league ledger into the midweek matchup.  

Savannah Scripter holds a team-best 29 hits on a .372 average with 10 RBI. Ava Brandow has brought in a team-high 15 runs on 25 hits and has scored seven times herself.  

Brandow and Ashlyn Conley are the Rams usual conference starters in the circle. Brandow holds a 5.74 ERA with 53 striekouts over 72.0 innings of work. Conley, meanwhile, brings in a 5.38 ERA and 16 Ks in 40.1 frames.  

GET TO KNOW THE GULLS
Endicott has won four in a row to sit 22-7 on the year and 10-2 in CCC play.  

Raven Comtois has barreled 35 hits on a .361 connection rate at the dish for 16 RBI and 14 runs scored. Chloe Shapleigh has 30-plus hits as well with 31 to go along with a team-high 21 RBI and 15 runs scored.  

In the circle, the Gulls' staff has combined for a 1.67 ERA. Jaylin Couto and Maria Hanchuk are the top two twirlers. The former holds a 1.37 ERA over 81.2 innings with 59 strikeouts. The latter boasts a 1.64 ERA and 64 punchouts in 76.2 frames of work.  

INSIDE THE SERIES

• The Rams are 6-12 all-time against the Gulls. 
• The blue-and-gold split the regular-season series a year ago. Suffolk won game one, 6-5, and lost the nightcap, 8-0, April 24, 2022.
• Five of the six Rams' victories have come when playing the Gulls on the road, 5-10. 
• Five of the 18 battles between Suffolk and Endicott have been determined via shutout. The Rams are 2-3 in such outings.
