2023 SUFFOLK SOFTBALL SCHEDULE

BOSTON – Janet Maguire has assembled a 40-game slate for Suffolk softball's 2023 campaign that features a Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach and eight doubleheaders at East Boston Memorial Park.

For the second straight season Suffolk's action commences in South Carolina as the Rams head to Myrtle Beach for the Fastpitch Dreams Sprig Classic. Over seven days, the blue-and-gold will battle against 10 different foes including familiar faces, St. Joseph (Conn.) (March 11) and SUNY Poly (March 11), and start rivalries with Iowa Wesleyan (March 9), TCNJ (March 10), Penn State Hazleton (March 10), Cortland (March 12), Susquehanna (March 12), Concordia (Texas) (March 14), Jefferson (March 14) and Ithaca (March 15).

Nine days after returning to Boston, the Rams use three non-conference clashes in Eastie against Emerson (March 24), Maine Farmington (March 26) and UMass Boston (March 30) to prep for the CCC opener, a Saturday, April 1 showdown at Gordon.

Roger Williams and the University of New England will pay Beantown a visit April 2 and April 7, respectively, with a midweek match across town at Emmanuel April 12 breaking up a home stay.

Suffolk makes a pit stop back in Boston for a conference clash with Nichols April 15.

From there, the Rams head out on the road for three road trips at Wentworth (April 16), Salem State (April 18) and Salve Regina (April 22).

The regular-season slate turns into a see-saw affair between home and road bouts the rest of the way. Endicott (April 23) and Curry (April 29) are set to head to Suffolk, while the Rams will venture to Simmons (April 26) and Western New England (May 6).

Suffolk's 40th season is its second under Maguire's leadership. She welcomes back a core of talent from last season's team including graduate student, outfielder Caitlin Murphy reigning CCC Rookie of the Year Jolie Quintana and senior infielders Ally Cifaratta and Savannah Scripter.
