BOSTON – After a history setting week, Suffolk softball's Delaney Sylvester has been tabbed a nominee for HeroSports.com Division III Offensive HERO of the Week, the organization announced. To vote for the Rams' senior catcher, click here. 

Sylvester had a week, hitting .667, slashing 1.286 and put together an on-base percentage of .731. Her 14-hit week was highlighted by her 200th career hit, which made the Worcester, Massachusetts, native the second-ever Suffolk softball player to reach the milestone. Five of her 14 hits were good for extra bases including four dingers. Overall, she brought in 13 runs and scored 11 herself to help Suffolk go 8-0 over the week and extend their win streak to 13. 

The nomination comes after Sylvester was named GNAC Corvias Player of the Week for the second time this season and was acknowledged as a Top Performer by the NFCA.
