BOSTON – Thanks to wrapping up the GNAC regular-season on a 10-game win streak, the Suffolk softball team will head into the 2017 GNAC Tournament as the third seed. 

The Rams head into the tournament field for the sixth straight season and fifth-time as the third seed. Under Jaclyn Davis Suffolk heads to its fifth consecutive conference champion and first time at No. 3. 

Suffolk awaits the decision of the first-round, single-elimination contest between #7 Emmanuel at #6 Norwich Tuesday for its opponent Thursday, May 4. The victor of the Saints/Cadets showdown heads to Standish, Maine, along with the third-seeded Rams. The winner will advance to the winner's bracket and face No. 2 St. Joseph (Maine).   

To prep for its chase to GNAC glory, the Rams head to Framingham State Tuesday, May 2 for a non-conference contest. Game time is set for 3 p.m.
