BOSTON – The Suffolk softball team takes its four-game win streak on the road as the Rams head north to Standish, Maine, Saturday for a GNAC twin bill at St. Joseph's (Maine). Game one is scheduled for 1 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk softball team took down Simmons, 9-3, in game one and came from behind with a powerful 8-run sixth inning to win the night cap 9-2 securing the sweep of the Sharks at East Boston Memorial Park Wednesday night.

RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Since opening the home portion of its schedule the Rams are on a four-game win streak that leveled its record at 11-11 and 3-3 against conference competition. 

Jill Pulek's power drives the offense with the sophomore designated player hitting .397, slugging .718 and owning an on-base percentage .413. She leads the way in RBI (24) and hits (31) and has scored 15 runs. Ashley Zulla is second on the squad at the plate, batting .382 and slugging .600.  The freshman outfielder has eight RBI on 21 hits to go along with 14 runs. Devlin Frost paces Suffolk in runs scored, coming home 24 times. The junior centerfielder bats .355, slugs .487 and has 13 RBI. 

Inside the circle, Ali Yamakaitis leads the way with a 2.37 ERA and 47 Ks. Taylor Holmes has also been a consistent threat on Suffolk's staff. The junior boasts a 4.77 ERA, sitting down 41 hitters.  

MONKS MENTIONABLES
St. Joe's heads to the weekend after a series split with Southern Maine that put the Monks at 8-10 on the year and 4-2 in league play. 

Libby Pomerleau's bat leads the way for the Monks, hitting .439 with 18 hits, five RBI and 10 runs scored. Carla Tripp (.375/.396/.492; 18 H, 2 RBI, 17R) and Meghan Elliott (.370/.481/.407; 20 H, 7 RBI, 13R), add a spark at the plate for SJC. 

The Monks to main starters, Kylie McFadden and Kristal Smith, have ERAs sub 3.00 with the former coming in at 2.59 and the latter owning a 2.65 ERA. Smith has struck out 24 hitters, while McFadden has sat down 15 batters.  

INSIDE THE SERIES
Suffolk has defeated the SJC in its last three meetings including a series sweep last season, but trails the all-time series with the Monks, 18-10.  

EYES ON THE GAME

100 WINS
With the 11-6 victory at Salem State, Jaclyn Davis picked up her 100th win on Suffolk's bench. She is just the second coach in the Rams' 33-year history to eclipse the 100-win mark. Davis joins Elaine Schwagger (100-82) as the only two coaches in Suffolk's softball annals to win 100 games in their careers at the helm of the program. 

GNAC CORVIAS ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ashley Zulla
of the Suffolk softball team has been named the GNAC Corvias Rookie of the Week after batting 0.625, slugging 1.375 and putting together a 0.667 on-base percentage during a doubleheader at Salem State Saturday, the league office announced Monday afternoon.

GNAC CORVIAS PITCHER OF THE WEEK
In the first week of action, Ali Yamakaitis threw her way to GNAC Corvias Pitcher of the Week March 13 with the junior going 2-0 in a pair of starts with a 0.54 ERA.
