RUNDOWN ON THE RAMS
Delaney Sylvester has been a catalyst during Suffolk's season, hitting at a .464 clip and boasting a .512 on-base percentage. She has led a group of eight players with double-digit RBI totals with 37 and belted out six home runs. Sylvester's 51 hits lead the way, while Devlin Frost and Jill Pulek join the sophomore catcher in the 40-hit club with 46 and 41, respectively. Pulek, who is hitting .436, slugging .745 and has a .527 on-base percentage, has scored 35 runs and brought in 32. Frost rounds out the deadly trio with 34 runs scored and 31 RBI thanks to 10 doubles, four homers and three triples.
Ali Yamakaitis and Taylor Holmes have been nearly untouchable in the circle, collecting 11 and 10 wins, respectively, in 19 appearances. Yamakaitis has twirled 100.2 innings, allowed 40 runs on 79 hits, walked 34 and struck out 62 for a 1.67 ERA, with Holmes seeing 83.0 innings of action, giving up 39 runs on 78 hits, punching out 55 and walking 31 for a 1.77 ERA. Kim Crucioli has been a potent reliever for the Rams with the junior owning a 6-2 record with two saves in 42.2 innings and a 2.92 ERA.
LAST TIME OUT
The Suffolk softball team saluted its two seniors – Meredith Ball and Nicole Isakson – in sweeping fashion as the Rams cruised past the Raiders of Rivier in a GNAC doubleheader Saturday afternoon at East Boston Memorial Park.
With the 11-0, five-inning shutout of game one, combined with a University of St. Joseph (Conn.) 2-0 win over Johnson & Wales, Suffolk clinched the GNAC regular season title outright and first-place in the conference championship tournament. The Rams did not let up in the regular season finale, however, as the blue-and-gold used a six-run sixth-inning to comeback against the Raiders and head into the tournament, 29-7 overall and 18-4 against conference competition.

ROAD TO 33
Suffolk is on the verge of eclipsing 30 wins for just the third time in the program's 32-year history. The Rams are chasing history as they look to upstage the 2005 and 2006 team's total wins of 31 and 32, respectively, to be the winningest squad in Suffolk softball history.
SUFFOLK SET TO HOST GNAC TOURNAMENT
