HOPKINTON, N.H. – Suffolk men's cross country sent five runners to Hopkinton Fairgrounds to run at the New England Intercollegiate Amateur Athletic Association (NEICAAA) Championships.
As a team, the Rams combined for 570 to round out the 17-team field in the Granite State that was topped by Central Connecticut with a 38.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Declan Shannon paved the way for Suffolk as the freshman came through the 8k finisher's chute in 29:43.6 to claim 190th in the field of 207.
- Kely Maloney clocked a 30:31.0 to finish seven spots behind Shannon.
- Sebastian Vickers-Richard crossed the tape in 31:55.2
- Michael Najarian produced a 33:30.6.
- Matthew McGoldrick ran a 34:57.2 8k.
THAT'S A FIRST
- Maloney made his 2024 season debut.
RAMS RECORDS
- Shannon secured a personal-best 8k time of 29:43.6.
- McGoldrick notched a career-high 8k time of 34:57.2.
NOTEWORTHY
- Suffolk competed at NEICAAA Championships for cross country for the first time in program history.
