BOSTON – Nearly every Ram who took the course at Franklin Park Friday recorded a personal record to push Suffolk men's cross country to a third-place performance at its own Short Course Classic.
The Rams combined for 95 points to finish third behind winner Northeastern (28) and runner-up WPI (80).
Tim Barry paced the Rams on the 5-kilomter course by crossing the finish line in 15:53.3, good for eighth place in the 159-runner field.
Meanwhile, Thomas Novy (16:08.8) and Hayden Green (16:25.6) claimed spots within the top-20 in 14th and 19th, respectively.
Sean Jacobsen (16:42.0) and Luke Sikora (16:50.4) rounded out the top in 27th and 33rd.
