2023 SUFFOLK MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY ROSTER

BOSTON – Suffolk men's cross country's veteran-heavy roster will have an added boost from two new freshmen as Cam Fredette and Matthew McGoldrick join the Rams' fold for the 2023 campaign, head coach Will Feldman unveiled.  

"We're very excited to welcome Cam (Fredette) and Matthew (McGoldrick) to the team this year," Feldman said. "I fully expect Cam to be an impactful contributor immediately. If we are able to build his confidence over the course of the season he is more than talented enough to be a top five scorer for us this season, and help get us over the hump as we attempt to win our first CCC Cross Country Championship." 

Feldman continued, "This year we're returning our top five runners from last year's team that placed second at the CCC Championships, and 10th at NCAA East Regionals."

Among those returners is All-CCC honoree sophomore Hayden Green, as well as senior Tim Barry and junior Thomas Novy, who are in the all-conference and all-region conversation on a yearly basis. That trio led Suffolk's squad to a runner-up CCC finish a year ago. With the addition of Fredette and McGoldrick, the Rams hope to capture the CCC crown for the first time in program history. 

Suffolk's 2023 season gets underway this Friday, Sept. 1 at the Short Course Classic at Franklin Park. The men's 5k is anticipated to start at 4:45 p.m.
