Men’s Cross Country Runs at UMass Dartmouth Invitational

BOSTON – Suffolk men's cross country competed against some of New England's best collegiate runners Saturday afternoon at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational.

Over 300 student-athletes from nearly 50 colleges and universities representing NCAA Division I, II and III took the 8k course through the Corsairs campus. Six runners raced for the Rams paced by Bryce Jacob. The freshman ran a 6:41 mile to cross the tape in 33:11. Seven seconds later, senior Paulo Guedes ran through the finisher's chute.

Graduate student Eddie Lui put together a time of 38:26, while Bryan Etter and David Lappin finished with identical times of 42:07. Brian Patterson rounded out the Rams with the sophomore completing the course in 43:29.

After a week off, Suffolk is back on the competition circuit Saturday, Sept. 30 when the Rams trek to Keene, New Hampshire, for the Keene State College Invitational.
