Campisano Leads Men’s Cross Country at Codfish Bowl

BOSTON – For the first time this season and since 2008, a Suffolk men's cross country runner finished the 8k course in a sub-30:00.0 time as David Campisano led the Rams at the Codfish Bowl Saturday morning at Franklin Park. 

The junior finished 10 seconds under 30 minutes to take 74th overall in a field of 162. Paulo Guedes' time of 30;23 was good for 87th overall and Ruben Torres clocked in at 34:19 (145th). Michael Rotchford (45:42, 161st) and Matthew Garrison (53:25, 162nd) rounded out the Rams' runners.   

Suffolk takes two weeks rest before returning to the course in Boston for the Saints Invitaitonal and a head-to-race against River Friday, Oct. 14.
