BOSTON – World champions and record holders converged on Boylston Street in Boston's Back Bay Sunday, May 23 for the adidas Boost Boston Games, a world Athletics Continental Tour Gold Series event, and Suffolk track & field's new hurdles were front in center for the event.

North America's first and only "street meet," the adidas Boost Boston Games has been held in Boston each year since 2016 and features the fastest men and women on the world racing down a specially constructed straightaway track in the heart of Beantown.

Suffolk's brand new hurdles, which were designed in the spring of 2020 by Suffolk's Sports Information Director Amy Barry, saw little action from the Rams this year due to a limited schedule from the global COVID-19 pandemic. The blue-and-gold hurdles made their meet debut on national television instead Sunday afternoon on NBC Sports.
