MEDFORD, Mass. – Three Rams represented Suffolk men's outdoor track & field last Thursday at Tufts National Qualifying Meet at Ellis Oval/Dussault Track.

The threesome looked to punch their NCAA tickets with the Jumbos' meet as their last chance.

Michael Balestra kept his unbeaten ways in the hammer throw in 2021 going. The Lincoln, Rhode Island, product tossed the hammer 48.50 meters to top the three-participant field.

Matyas Csiki-Fejer clocked a podium finish in the 5000. The St. Louis, Missouri native, finished the event in with a personal-best time of 14:39.91, but was edged out by Colby's Tyler Morris (14:32.67) and Jeffrey Love (14:36.34) of Connecticut College.

Cole Bolduc attempted to cross the 400 tap with a sub-50-second mark. The sophomore from Blackstone, Massachusetts, was just over that though in 51.59 to take fourth in the six-runner field.

The 2021 NCAA Division III Championship field was announced Friday, May 21 and Suffolk's top runners were just on the outside of the field.
