Men’s Indoor Track & Field Record Falls at Crimson Open

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Michael Nossek produced a program-record in the 60 to lead the Suffolk men's indoor track & field team's effort at the Crimson Open at Harvard's Gordon Indoor Track & Field.  

RAMS RECORDS

  • Nossek sprinted to a 6.80 in the 60 to put his name atop Suffolk's all-time list. He also produced a career-high in the 200 with a 22.77 showing.
  • Michael Najarian produced a career-high in the mile of 5:13.12. 

RAMS RUNNERS

  • Nosske's 60 finals time of 6.80 put the freshman in first in the field of 75, which featured Nathan Fernandes (7.34) and Tighe Hossman (7.85).
  • Nosske claimed 10th in the 200 with a time of 22.77. Joshua Durand (24.37) and Hossman (25.32) made two laps around the track as well. 
  • Corman O'Brien clocked a 58.73 in the 400.
  • Sean Jacobsen sealed up 17th in the 800 with a 2:07.03 performance. 
  • Declan Shannon (4:48.53), Patrick Lambe (4:54.06), Jacob Dubin (5:01.28) and Najarian (5:13.12) represented the Rams in the mile. 
  • Connor Hayward was Suffolk's lone long distance runner in the 3000 (9:20.32). 
  • Hossman hurdled the 60 in 9.07.  

JUMPERS JIST

  • Michael Makiej secured second in the high jump with a 1.90-meter effort. 
  • Fernandes (5.61), Michael Frodelius (5.58) and Clinton Oreofe competed in the long jump. 
  • Frodelius tripled jumped 11.40 meters to take 12th.
