NEICAAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
NEICAAA sponsors collegiate championships in three events – cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field. These championships have produced NCAA champions, Olympic medalist and even Boston Marathon championships.
The first edition of the New England Track & Field Championships was held in 1887 and is currently the second oldest track and field meet organized in the United States – second to only the IC4A's Championship, which was started 11 years earlier.
QUALIFILYING QUALIFICATIONS
The top 32 athletes from a New England school across all three NCAA Divisions in each event, who have met the championships standards outlined here, are invited to compete.
SUFFOLK AT NEICAAA CHAMPIONSHIPS
Although a pair of Rams have qualified in the past, this will be the first year in Suffolk's indoor track & field's history, that Rams will compete against the best-of-the-best in New England at the NEICAAA Championships.
