BOSTON – Eight members of Suffolk men's indoor track & field took their talents across town Saturday for the David Hemery Valentine Invitational at Boston University.
RAMS RECORDS
- Turner Mitchell turned in a PR in the 200 of 23.19.
- Tim Barry logged a personal-best 1:54.63 in the 800.
RAMS RUNNERS
- Alongside Mitchell (23.19) in the 200 was Joshua Durand (24.00) and John Avakian (24.59).
- Mitchell was also featured in the 60, where he finished the dash in 7.37, good for 54th.
- Durand ran the 400 in 53.21.
- Barry's 1:53.63 in the 800 put the senior in the middle of the 265-runner pack in 124th. Luke Sikora (1:58.86) also ran two laps around the track.
- Carter Nevulis took 16th in the 60 hurdles thanks to his time of 8.57.
JUMPERS JIST
- Owen Campbell (3.73m) and Joshua Catino (3.58m) represented the Rams in the pole vault.
- Nevulis (6.06m) participated in the long jump.
QUALIFICATION PICTURE
- Barry earned a spot at the NEICAAA in the 800 thanks to his time of 1:54.63.

The Rams trek to Gorham, Maine, Friday, Feb. 16 to defend their Frozen 8 Championships at the USM Field House.
