BOSTON – Four distance runners on the Suffolk men's indoor track & field team ran at the River Hawk Invitational Saturday at the Track at New Balance.
Jacob Dubin and Conor Garrity both represented the blue-and-gold in the mile. Dubin clocked a personal-best 4:38.60 to finish 66th in the 92-runner field that featured foes from every NCAA Division. Garrity, meanwhile, clocked a 4:49.80, good for 81st.
In the 3000, both Sean Jacobsen and Connor Hayward rewrote personal-best. The former finished in 9:10.46 to claim 57th and the latter logged a 9:16.52.
Suffolk is set to return to action next weekend, Feb. 2-3, when it splits up for two events; Boston University's Bruce Lehane Scarlet & White Invitational and Plymouth State's Panther Invitational II.
