BOSTON – Over the weekend, Suffolk men's indoor track & field compete at the John Thomas Terrier Invitational at Boston University.

Suffolk's sprinters were highlighted by Connor Baston. After a 7.42 60-meter dash, the freshman lowered his GNAC leading time in the 200 to a personal-best 23.15 to take 128th overall. His classmate, Connor Abbotoni, also put together a career-high time in the event with a 23.45, which sits as the fourth fastest time in the league. Josh Smith rouned out the Rams in the event with a time of 24.22.

In the 400, Robert Solari, Abbotoni and Josh Smith put together the three top times in the conference this year. Solari put together a personal-record 51.11 to finish 78th in the 126-runner field. Abbotoni's personal-best of 51.85 was good for 100 with Smith claiming 118th behind a time of 53.13.

Suffolk will be back in action next weekend at a pair of events, BU's Bruce Lehane Scarlett & White Invite and Tufts' Branwen Smith-King Invitational.
